The “Throwable Panoramic Ball Camera,” is designed by Jonas Pfeil as part of his thesis project at the Technical University of Berlin.
It creates spherical panoramas after being thrown into the air.

I think its a really cool idea. particularly for use at say festivals to get a good view of everything that’s going on at once.
