the Neverwas Haul
The Neverwas Haul is a self-propelled three story Victorian house / sculpture / car, made mainly by recycled equipment and materials by of a group of San Francisco Bay Area artists and dreamers named “The travelling Academy of UnNatural Science”.
The crew’s commander is Shannon O’Hare, a.k.a. Major Catastrophe.
The Haul debuted in 2006 and has since become a staple on the Burning Man scene, the annual art event and temporary community based on radical self expression and self-reliance in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada.
